Discrimination Around Housing

Federal laws prohibit housing discrimination based on race, sex, color, religion, national origin, familial status, and disability. Hawai'i state laws prohibit discrimination based on all of the above categories, and additional protections based on age, ancestry, gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, HIV status, marital status, hanai status, and source of income.
